Dinner at Django Restaurant, June 2004
BYOB in Philly baby... So you know it's gonna be filled with Roederer...
So lots of hype over this place... tough reservations, 30 days to the date style, got an 8:30 res on Sat night... Hit the liquor sto' on Market, picked up my booze, and went back to the Loews for a little pre-dinner nap... Took a cab, got there around 8:30, started with a bottle of bub, had some chardonnay, and ordered like 7 courses, chef's choice on the serving order, my choice on the dishes...
UPDATE: Since first going to Django back in June of 2004, I've been back about 6 more times... Everytime has been great, but unfortunately I've never really taken any pictures of the food... But here are a few pics from my last trip in August of 2006... Magnum bottles of champagne and wine of the best, of course...
